HELICOPTERS

San Jacinto can carry 1 or 2 SH-60B Seahawk helicopters. They are used as anti-submarine warfare platforms sent out to drop sonobouys for tracking, or to attack a target using torpedoes carried on board the helicopter. A small flight deck is aft of the superstructure, with a hangar.
