My first real find was an 1880 silver dollar that I found right in my own yard here in Orlando Florida. The property was originaly owned by Orlando's first pioneer Aaron Jernigan. I have been fortunate to live in such an historic area. Within a three mile radius ,I have found some of my best finds... 1880 and 1889 Morgan dollars, and this beautiful US belt plate shown above. I enjoy coinshooting, relic hunting, and water hunting.My detectors of choice are the MINELAB Explorer II,the SHADOW, the WHITES XLT, and the SURF P.I.
