T-Connection
Excellent disco band on the Miami T.K. (Dash) label (producers & writers :
Cory Wade and Theophilus Coakley). Their style is completely unique... all their
songs are good disco fodder and were the backbones of the T.K. Disco label in
its early 12" history. Listen especially for the full length versions of
"Disco magic", "Do what you wanna do", "On fire",
"Let yourself go", and "At midnight" (most in the UK
charts). Bassline to "Do what you wanna do" has been sampled many
times. "Disco magic" was one of the first 12" singles to be
released on the T.K. Disco label. As an aside, this debut single was a 12"
on three labels! Firstly the Media label (with a black and white picture cover),
then on Dash, and finally it was the second 12" on T.K. Disco.
