Michael Jackson

Immensely successful performer, especially in the 1980's - originally with Jackson 5 and later The Jacksons. But for his disco hits, listen to his Quincy Jones produced album "Off the wall" - a 30 million seller. The classic disco songs are, of course, "Don't stop till you get enough", "Off the wall" and "Burn this disco out". Guitars on this album are by The Brothers Johnson, some songs are written by Rod Temperton of British disco band Heatwave.

Pre-"Off the wall" Michael appeared in the film The Wiz with Diana Ross, and there were two 12" disco singles from this album.
