Love De-Luxe

Alan Hawkshaw's pet disco band. "Here comes that sound again" is EXCELLENT - I can't stop listening to it. It's the perfect disco tune, bassline, disco beat, stabbing brass section & all. From the same album, also listen for "I got that feeling" and "When we're dancing".

Alan worked on many of Alec R. Costandinos' albums as a keyboardist. He also produced an album for Bizarre and wrote the theme music for UK TV's Channel 4 quiz show "Countdown".

The cover of the European album (above) is far better than the boring US cover (this was on Atlantic records).
