King Floyd
Taken up on the UK's Contempo label in the mid 1970's, soul singer King Floyd
(who was signed to Miami's Chimneyville records in the US) released the UK disco
classic "Body English" in 1976. Written by Frederick Knight, its
wah-wah guitar and funky bassline make it very danceable.
In the early 1970's, King Floyd had several soul releases under the Atlantic/Atco
distribution.
