Eddie Kendricks
Originally with the Temptations, Eddie went solo in 1973. Biggest selling single
was the early disco classic "Keep on truckin'" - an excellent
near-instrumental with a great flow and perfect wah-wah... Follow up single
"Boogie down" was almost as succesful, but is no where near as good.
Eddie also recorded a great disco cover version of Bugatti and Musker's
"Ain't no smoke without fire". By this time he had left the Motown
label for good.
