Ecstasy, Passion and Pain
Soul group on Roulette in the early 1970's began to record more discofied stuff
as the Seventies wore on. Produced by Melvin and Marvin Steals, and featuring
the vocals of Barbara Gaskins.
The best of their 7" disco-soul releases was "Ask me". For
their disco releases, try a taste of "Touch and go" (now a rare
12" single) or the slower and more soulful "Dance the night
away". The 12" of "Touch and go" was mixed by Tom Moulton
and the white label promo of this was the first 12" on the Roulette label.
