Family Tree |
What is it that we our parents call a Family Tree Does it grow tall in spite of it all and strive always to be free Yes and yet we know that it is ever bearingly strong As the Jack Pine in the forest standing proud and long If a branch should break and fall to the earth below The spring will come and soon we'll see a seedling there will grow Soon through our memories we have but a glimps in time We are standing at the exit gate of life waiting now in line From Family Trees we've all arrived upon this fertile ground To plow the fields and plant our seeds memories to be found Family Trees tell of heritage what has been and what is yet to be Of pride and tender moments, love and all our fantasy's So like the Jack Pine stand proud and strong take time to know your tree For the joy and knowledge you will learn from it Will survive all Eternity |
