Spring Training Game 7: Devil Rays 2 vs. Twins 1—FINAL

Game Time: 2:13 —Attendance: 6,792

PROPS TO:

*Jason Tyner – A good aggressive offensive game, starting out with a bunt base hit and than trying to score on a base hit (was sent home) after a double.

*Mr. Rios and Mr. Gross – The Jays got both runs on back to back home runs, all they would need.

*Jays pitchers – Even though there were 8 of them (it’s a way to win a game, but not sure the best way to do it, might hurt them in the regular season, or the start of it.) But they kept the Twins to one run today.

*Twins pitching (Other than Crain) – Even with Crain, they only gave up 2 runs, both on home runs. No one touched third.

FLOPS TO:

*Jessie Crain – Two home runs, back to back. He came back and did fine but the second home run was too much.

*Twins offense – 9 guys left on base, way too many in a close game like this. There was not enough of an attempt to manufacture a run, no bunting or hitting and running.
