Game 1 of 3: Twins 1 @ Mariners 5 — FINAL

Game Time: 2:22  —Attendance: 46, 249
WP: Moyer (1-0); LP: Radke (0-1)

PROPS TO:

* Richie Sexson - Well, it was all him when it came to the M's offense. He made sure he would create a bang in his Mariner debut, homering in his first two at-bats, and driving in all five Seattle runs.

* Ichiro Suzuki - Well, gotta give him props for starting the offense for the M's like he always does, with a slap single to left.

* Joe Mauer - Had a single, stole second, and threw out Ichiro trying to steal. He looked good out there, with no reported knee troubles of yet.

* Jason Bartlett - Had quality at-bats today, and drove in the only run for the Twins in the 5th inning. He played very well in the field today also.

* Jamie Moyer - Beginning his 19th year in the majors - he pitched brilliantly, keeping the Twins hitters off balance. He went 5.2 innings, giving up five hits and only one run.

* Brad Radke - Take away those two Sexson homers, he pitched a good game as well. The bats couldn't give him any run support as usual though. Outside of the homers, I felt Rad deserved a prop. His game wasn't bad at all.

* M's bullpen (Mateo, Villone, Guardado) - Retired all 10 Twins hitters they faced.

* Terry Mulholland - Pitched a great 8th inning in relief of Radke.

FLOPS TO:

* Twins bats - They slept today, only getting five hits, with no Twin having a multi-hit game. Mauer, Bartlett, Jones, Rivas, and Stewart each got one hit in the game.
