Our purpose is to promote the art and craft of quilting in our community through friendship, sharing, and education.  We support our community with prayer quilts for those experiencing life challenges.  In addition our members, both individually and as a group, support these worthy causes with our quilting contributions:

Project Linus
Quilt for a Cure
St. Jude's Quilt of Dreams
Lakeside Hospice
Pell City St Clair Animal Shelter
Calhoun County Animal Shelter

Our monthly meetings and our annual retreat offer our members opportunities to share our craft and our contributions to these worthwhile causes.  We so appreciate the many friends and vendors who support our guild with purchases of raffle tickets for our opportunity quilts and with door prizes for our retreat.

Ami Simms
A Quilter's Prayer
I open my heart and my mind to Your Divine Inspiration, O God.  I hear Your voice of encouragement with each breath I take.  I feel Your Love moving through my fingers with each stitch I make.  I see Your Light in my work, infusing this quilt with Your Blessing so it is no longer my work but Yours. This quilt goes on to bless all those who are open to experience Your Divine Blessing.  I thank You, O God, for Your Guidance, Your Peace, and Your Joy which have drawn this gift of quilting into my life.  As I share the gift with others, they, too, are blessed by Your Love.  Amen.
