MONICA GELLER-BING

Monica is a sweet and caring friend and respects others' choices although she can easily come off as bossy and overbearing; because of her leadership and over-protectiveness of those she cares about. She is a neat-freak and will fuss over the smallest messes, a few crumbs on the floor and uh-oh you're in troble! She and Chandler have been married for a while and seem to be getting along well in their marriage despite their rocky beggining. (It is rumoured they will sometime soon have a edition to their small family)

ANOTHER OPINON ON MONICA

When NBC launched Friends nearly four years ago, Courteney Cox was easily the best-known cast member. The Alabama native had already spent several seasons as Michael J. Fox's girlfriend on the hit '80s series Family Ties; had clambered onstage with Bruce Springsteen for the Boss' "Dancing in the Dark" video; and had been the first person to say the word period on TV (and mean it in that way) for a Tampax commercial. But as Friends exploded into a Must-See affair, Cox's obsessively clean Monica Geller kept getting overshadowed. If it wasn't David Schwimmer's puppy-dog petability snagging the spotlight, it was Lisa Kudrow's ditzy ditties. If the world wasn't speculating about Matthew Perry's cosmetic surgery, it was all agog over Jennifer Aniston's hair. Of course, Cox's got a pretty impressive black mane herself. She's the most normal, the voice of the reason, although, she does have her quirks.

Quote from "Monica":

Monica: Honey, I’m not returning them. Okay? I mean I-I know they cost a lot, but I’m going to wear them all the time. You’ll see. Besides, I love the compliments. I mean, have you ever had something so beautiful everyone wanted it?
Chandler: I have you.
Monica: Nice try; I’m keeping the boots.

RACHEL GREEN

Rachel is the sweet and innocent one in the group. She is a cute sweet-talker and can get people (Ross) to easily do things for her. Before she moved into the city she was a spoiled little Daddy's princess and traces of the bratty little girl are still showing through now almost 10 years later, although she has become much more independant and unique charchter. Rachel seems to have the most troubles within the group and has become a much stronger woman through dealing with these situations.

ANOTHER OPINON ON RACHEL

Rachel's the "princess" of the group but she works as hard as the rest of them. She used to work at the groups hangout Central Perk, but now she works at Ralph Lauren. Rachel Green used to live with her friend from Lincoln High Shool, Monica, in a high-rise apartment in Greenwich Village. Rachel moved in with Monica after she left her ex fiance Barry at the alter. She then moved in with Pheobe and later on with Joey and currently Ross since she has been pregnant. Rachel has been dating Ross Geller on and off. They are currently "on a break," but who knows, especially because of Emma, are things going to change?

Quote from "Rachel":

Rachel: Oh Gunther! You brought candy! Thank you so much for picking this up! You are so sweet.
Gunther: Really?
Rachel: Honey, someday you are gonna make some man the luckiest guy in the world.

PHOEBE BUFFAY

Pheobe, like Rachel, seems very innocent and demonstates a lot of her innocence and emotions through her very different styled music. These songs all relate to her life and her relative, especially her mom, who killed herself when Pheobe was 14, long before her father had left her and she was left to rely on herself and grandmother. Pheobe has an innocent sense of humour and cheers up others easily with her cute yet hilarious attitude towards life.

ANOTHER OPINON ON PHEOBE

Phoebe is spacey but she dances (and sings) to her own tune. Phoebe has had the most dysfunctional childhood out of the Friends gang. Phoebe can sleep in public places. She also makes the world's best oatmeal raisin cookies, but she doesn't make them too often because she feels it wouldn't be fair "to the other cookies." And, she can cut hair . . . sort of. Phoebe used to be a masseuse and once planned to make a Relaxi Taxi, also she plays the guitar and sings at Central Perk. Very multi talented, huh? Phoebe is also the one that all the Friends can turn to when they need to be uplifted.

Quote from "Phoebe":

Rachel: I know, but I was just thinking about how huge this is for me. I didn’t even go to how huge this was going to be for the father.
Phoebe: You’re thinking about this way too much. Just tell him and get it over with. It’s like, it’s like ripping off this Band-Aid. (On her arm) Quick and painless, watch. (Rips it off.) OH MOTHER OF--!...See?

CHANDLER BING

Chandler has an amazing out look on his life and all his friends for that matter. He can spot the bright side of situations and can cheer up others with his cute comments and patheticly funny jokes. He tries his best in everything but has a bad habit of being exetremly nervous doing new things. One such occasion was his wedding day (with Monica), he left her standing at the alter. He later returned to continue the ceremony and they were happily married and have been since. Suprisingly enough when Monica bet Pheobe she could scare Chandler by talking about having a baby soon . . . he agreed (although Monica had not meant it to be the real thing she had expected him to say no)

ANOTHER OPINON ON CHANDLER

Matthew Perry's character is Chandler Bing. Chandler may be a bit of a wiseguy but who can resist his charm? He is the life of the party and he is always making jokes even at his own expense. Chandler works as a Data Processor, and lives with his wife Monica in apartment #20 right across the hall from Joey and Rachel.

Quote from "Chandler":

Mona: Hi!
Chandler: Oh, Joey’s gonna be thrilled! He was hoping you’d come by as a slutty nurse.
Mona: Umm, actually I’m just a nurse.
Chandler: You’d think that would embarrass me, but you see I’m maxed out.

JOEY TRIBBIANI

Joey is a sensitive and caring guy although he is also macho too. He sees the bright side of most things and is quite optimistic. He is in the acting business and is still looking for a big break, his best apperance was as Dr. Ramoray in Days of Our Lives until he is killed off later in the show. Joey loves women and sports in particular. He has had many girl friends in the past and is now deeply in love with Rachel but she does not love him back; she loves Ross....they even had a child together. . . what is Joey to do?

ANOTHER OPINON ON JOEY

Joey is a struggling Italian actor, who has worked on various projects. He played Dr. Drake Remoray in "Days of Our Lives," Al Pacino's butt double, and he worked in various off broadway plays. He has come up with some unusual stage names which include "Joseph Stalin" and "Holdin McGroin". Joey can be dense at times. But if his brain isn't that big, his heart is. Joey shared apartment #19 with Chandler Bing in NYC, Chandler moved in with Monica soon before he was married to her so he lived with Rachel until she moved out to move in with Ross (with the baby on the way). Joey is a real lady killer and is known for dating lots of women, his pick up line is (said in an Italian voice) "How you doin?"

Quote from "Joey":

JOEY: Hey, why can't we use the same toothbrush, but we can use the same soap?
CHANDLER: Because soap is soap. It's self-cleaning.
JOEY: Alright, well next time you take a shower, think about the last thing I wash and the first thing you wash.

ROSS GELLER

Ross is, well, sort of the geek of the group, although he has much improved since high school. Ross is now a palentogist/professor at a college. He is madly in love with Rachel. . . but Joey is too. He and Rachel have a child together named Emma . . . what will the future of Joey, Ross and Rachel be?

ANOTHER OPINON ON ROSS

David Schwimmer plays Ross Geller on Friends. Ross is the cute and lovable paleontologist. He is single, but he has been married and divorced 3 times. Once to Carol (Mother of his son Ben), engaged and married (but barely)to an English woman named Emily, and has dated Rachel and once married her in Las Vegas. (Ross lives with Rachel in the apartment building across the street from his sister. He is funny, smart and cute, and that's why he is one of our favorites. :-)

Quote from "Ross":

Ross: What? You're, uh, you're... you're over me? When... when were you... under me?
