| Origin: India through Bangladesh. Temperament: Very good community fish. Peaceful. Size: Up to 5cm (2") Temperature: 70-83°F or 21-28°C pH Level: 6.5 to 7.0 Food: Flake food, pellets, peas, algae, lettuce, (most greens), worms, crustaceans, insects. Tank Setup: Keep plants in the tank, these fish will clean off algae. Keep with other peaceful species. Breeding: Bubble-nest breeder. Difficult. Sexing: Dorsal and anal fins more established in males. Mature males tend to be more coloured.. Comments: Excellent community fish. Well recommended for the beginner. |
