Maria is one of the funniest women on the stand up circuit. Her first big break came when she did the voice of a dog on the wildly popular children’s show cat-dog. She also did the voice of a bird in Stuart Little 2. She has made a name for herself with hilarious impressions of mothers, drunks, cult members and bosses. Her act has rendered a half hour special on Comedy Central presents, as well as numerous appearances on Premium Blend. She also recently won the Barry Award in Melbourne for best stand up act. Maria Bamford could very well become a stand up legend.
