GRADE 7 HOMEWORK

MATHEMATICS

Students and parents are encouraged to visit the MATH HELP AND PRACTICE ONLINE and try some of the interactive math links.

LANGUAGE ARTS

We are working on Writers' Workshop and also completing a Reading exemplar this last week before Christmas.

GEOGRAPHY

Phenomenon Reports completed and handed in - excellent work (parents and students!). Science North trip we will be learning about global warming.

SCIENCE

New Unit - Earth's Crust (focus on visualization, modeling and simulations as a technique in enhancing teaching and learning experiences). Science North - learning about ecosystems of northern Ontario.

HISTORY

Studying New France. We will be taking a closer look at some of the major battles in the Seven Years War between the British and French in North America - some role palying is coming up! Test results incredible - average of 85 %, those who provided proof of studying on average got 2% higher.

Badminton skills and follow-up class tournament with divisions for every skills level. Running or athletic shoes, shorts and proper shirt needed for participation. Fitness appraisals and checking heart rates.
