A tasty way to make sure the kids get those nutrients they need.
4 8 ounce vanilla yogurt (fat free light or Creamy Blends)
2 cups granola (any variety)
1 1/3 cup raspberries or (fresh or frozen)
1 1/3 cup blueberries (fresh or frozen)
Into four 16-ounce parfait or other glasses, layer 1/3 cup blueberries.
Sprinkle 1/4 cup granola over the berries to form a solid layer.
Spoon one container of yogurt over granola.
Sprinkle 1/4 cup granola over yogurt.
Top with 1/3 cup of raspberries. Serve.
Makes 4 servings.
Variations: Use blueberry, strawberry, or other fruit flavored yogurt in place of vanilla.
Other fruits like bananas, strawberries, peaches, nectarines or blackberries will also work.
