Millenium

The future is here. Haha.

BSB's sophomore effort. I like it. A lot.

Larger Than Life: It's a cute idea about dedicating the song to the fans. I like this song, and I actually like the single/video version better than the cd version even though there isn't much difference. I like how it's fast and upbeat and I'm really glad it's a single. It's songs like this that show how much the guys do care about the fans and it makes us feel special. So thanks guys, the song's sweet.

I Want It That Way: Wow. Just, wow. I like how it starts out slow and then gets upbeat once Nick begins to sing. And the fact that each one of them sings in this song is very cool. It really was a good song to release first off Millenium because everyone loves this song. No matter their age, sex, race, or anything else, everyone says that this is a good song. I mean, it's the 10th best pop song of all time! [According to MTV and Rolling Stone.] I loved hearing Kevin's voice! I had never really heard him sing and then to hear it in this song is awesome. This song made my mom a fan. She loves them now. There's nothing else to say except that it's awesome and whoever wrote this deserves major props.

Show Me The Meaning Of Being Lonely: At first I didn't like it. But now -- as I've started really listening to the vocals and all -- I love it. It's very pretty and sad at the same time. I think it's sweet how they dedicated it to Denniz Pop, considering the circumstances. And this song really is something we've never heard before. It's a totally unique type of song and the Boys make it sound great. After much consideration, I do like this song. If there are bad things written about this song on here, it just shows how much my thoughts have changed.

It's Gotta Be You: The begining of this song is cool. It's all digital and stuff. How fun. I like this one. It's fun to groove to. A friend of mine a few years ago was saying that this song sounds like NSYNC but I personally never thought that. Who knows. This is a fun song live. The best part of this is Nick's "Baby, it's the way you make me kindagetmego crazay, never wanna stop!" at the beginning. Because... Yes. This is Kristen's favorite song. Fun fact for you.

I Need You Tonight: When I got this cd I was in teenybopper state and was so in love with Nick. But I didn't like it then. Now however, I do. I'll admit it. It's not as bad as I put it out to be, I really don't know what was up with my dislike of it. Granted Nick does sound a little whiney, and it is his solo... But it's good. And the other guys join in at the end. I don't get that. Why didn't they sing along the whole time with the chorus? This we will never know.

Don't Want You Back: I love this song! I do. Like the whole "You hit me faster than a shark attack... You saw my picture on the Backstreet's Back Alright!" thing. That amused me for a long time. It still does. And I like how this song is different from all the rest of the boyband songs that are all lovey dovey, it tells that skank to get the hell away from them. It was an original idea, but of course now all the other boybands will steal the idea. [Ex: NSYNC's new one Bye, Bye, Bye.] This song kicks ass. It just does.

Don't Wanna Lose You Now: This song is really mellow, whenever I hear it, it kinda drifts me off to sleep. But not as in being boring, in a good way. If I still had nap time I'd wanna fall asleep to this everyday. It's so pretty. It's so good. I love the line that starts "Don't wanna lose to loneliness..." and continues into the bridge. Just... Wow. This song rocks too, but in a different mellow sorta way.

The One: This was my favorite song on the cd when it came out. I thought it would make an awesome single, but I was wrong. [It was the the video's fault.] The mellowness of this one is great. The "snap dance" they did for this song at the concert is funny. Yes. I heard this song on the Britney cd and couldn't wait for more. It really is a catchy song, I knew I was humming it all day and I only heard the preview. I like it, but the single thing didn't work out.

Back To Your Heart: Damn, Kevin can write a song! If he wrote this, they should let him write more songs, I can see how he'll be a songwriter in the future. The words to this song are really sweet, but I figured that if he wrote this they should let him sing! Brian sang in his song, correct? That's fine, he can keep up his song writing and playing of the grand piano and I'll be fine. Oh yes, the hidden verse to this song is so amazing. It makes the song 10 times better. Even if it did take me at least a year to find it. :)

Spanish Eyes: Personally I don't really like this song. It's not cause Howie sings a lot, I just don't really like it. It has no flow to it like the other songs, it has no real appeal to me. But is has grown on me a little as the times have gone on.

No One Else Comes Close: This song also kinda puts me to sleep, which is good I guess cause its almost the end of the cd. Its an okay song, although Nick's voice cracks in it several times and it's kinda boring. It's also a remake. So, yeah. I love the end when AJ says "Damn, I love you." because it's funny. Although, you have to turn it up to hear it, he really should've said it louder! That's what I do like about this song, but I guess the rest is okay. Maybe.

Perfect Fan: This is song is really sweet and my mom thinks it's incredibly sad. It's nice how they dedicated it to their moms but it's not really that original. Cause Boyz II men, Spice girls, ect., all did the same thing. But Brian wrote it and the lyrics are sweet. Having this as the last song is great because it gives closure to the cd. The first song thanks the fans and the last one thanks their moms. Cute.

Overall this cd is awesome. I'm so proud of the Boys. So proud.

Don't wanna lose to emptyiness, no, no, or ever again.
