GONE TOO SOON
By Grossman/Kohan/Jackson

Like A Comet
Blazing 'Cross The Evening Sky
Gone Too Soon
Like A Rainbow
Fading In The Twinkling Of An Eye
Gone Too Soon
Shiny And Sparkly And Splendidly Bright
Here One Day...Gone One Night
Like The Loss Of Sunlight
On A Cloudy Afternoon
Gone Too Soon
Like A Castle
Built Upon A Sandy Beach
Gone Too Soon
Like A Perfect Flower
That Is Just Beyond Your Reach
Gone Too Soon
Born To Amuse, To Inspire, To Delight
Here One Day...Gone One Night
Like A Sunset Dying
With The Rising Of The Moon
Gone Too Soon

Gone Too Soon

Leave your
Memories

This site was created  on Sept. 20, 1997 - the day of Mandi's  funeral.

It was the best gift I could think of to give that would last forever and hold a positive meaning. It comes from my heart, and probably has a little to do with my own healing too.

Til we meet again
Miss Amanda.

This is a place that will live forever in memory of Amanda Quinto.  Consider this an enduring tribute to her...a place to visit when you're thinking of her...a place to come to when you're sad...and hopefully, a place where you'll eventually visit even after your sorrow has faded away.  It is set up with information about Mandi, both her life and death.  There is information about death,  life, coping with loss, picking up the pieces, supporting those who have lost, and more.  There is also a place to leave your messages to Mandi...tell stories about her, mention a time you'll never forget, and even your let out your emotions (whatever they may be).
There is no argument that losing a loved one is extremely difficult.  This is a place where you can visit when you're alone...when you're crying or lonely or even too angry to let anyone else see.  Please know and believe that it is OK to feel whatever you are feeling.  Mandi would have felt for you as you are feeling for her now.  And it can also be trusted that she would have stopped by your memorial site too.  But know it is also OK to feel happy again, to laugh and smile, and to go on living our lives.  She would have done the same...keeping you in her heart forever.
This site was built with the intention of letting Mandi live on not only for us, but hopefully for the future generations one day.  Maybe someday in the future, some young child will happen to drop by this memorial just by luck.  He or she will be able to learn a little something about our friend...something, perhaps, that maybe we ourselves weren't even around long enough to tell the story.
So, take a look around...bookmark it if you'd like.  Remember, the purpose of this site is to live as an enduring memory...a place to stop by again and again, even after the sad days are gone.  There are songs, pictures, poems, stories, and other links.  Enjoy your memories of Amanda, as we preserve and create even more to keep her legacy alive.
