Week 7
June 28 - July 4
First off, let me just say Happy 4th of July to everyone out there.  Hopefully, you all have had a wonderful week, and hopefully you are enjoying these wonderful, but slightly hot, summer days.  I know I am, even without going out in the sun all that much.

The week actually hasn't been as bad as I thought it was going to be.  My breakout has cleared for the most part on my left cheek, but has grown a little worse on my right cheek.  I really hope this goes away soon, because it is so discouraging to look in the mirror and see ugly red spots taking over my face when they are supposed to be disappearing.  Maybe Accutane is just taking a while to kick in, or maybe I am experiencing the forewarned breakout a little late in the treatment.  Well, whatever the case, I am hoping that it will vanish quickly.

In other news, I am about to complete month number two, which of course means it is time for another blood test.  I go in tomorrow actually.  I am not looking forward to it, but it sure doesn't bother me as much as it used to.  I think the results will be fine, cause I haven't really changed anything since I last got it checked, but you never know what will happen.

My side effects have pretty much stayed the same.  I had one bloody nose yesterday, but it literally only last a minute.  They just seem to creep up out of nowhere.  My arms are completely free of any flaky skin like they used to be and no more scabs to go along with that.  That Avon lotion is really doing a great job.  My face has become increasingly flaky, especially in breakout areas.  Despite the efforts of Cetaphil, it just seems to stay as dry as always, but I think I am seeing a little bit of improvement, so I'm gonna keep using it.

The only results I have seen this week are the clearing of my forehead.  It's practically clear, except for the one or two little spots up there.  My back is continually improving and now it is virtually clear, along with my chest and arms.  So, I guess that is a plus.  But, nobody sees my back or chest anyway, so it's not like it really matters, right?

I have stopped taking the Vitamin E, because I haven't really noticed it's effects at all, so why pump my body full of stuff that's doing me no good.  I will have to ask my dermatologist about it when I see her next week.  I defnitely plan to ask her about this breakout business.  As for my daily regimine, it hasn't really changed.  The only new thing is that I have stopped taking the Vitamin E.

I guess that's all for this week.  I will be sure to tell you all next week about my blood test and my trip to the dermatologist.  Until then, you all have a wonderful week.  And, once again, don't hesitate to
contact me if you have any comments or questions.  Adios mis amigos.
