Accutane has given me a renewed confidence that I never thought I would be able to have again, and it is so great. I am so much more confident in how I look and feel and I owe a lot of that to the wonderful drug also known as Accutane.
I appreciate all of the questions and comments I have received lately, and would like to comment on some of the more frequently asked questions now. First off, I am not a dermatologist. With that out of the way, I have to say that I am in no position to recommend Accutane to anyone. I am only here to share my experience with you to give you one (of MANY) personal accounts of the drug. If my experience helps you make your decision, then that is great and I am glad that I am here to help with that. But, once again, I cannot and will not make a diagnosis for you or your case of acne. That is definitely something you need to take up with your dermatologist and not me. Though I am on my way to medical school, I am not there yet, so hold off with those questions. ;-)
I also am commonly asked whether my hair fell out at all during my Accutane experience. NO, my hair did not fall out at all anywhere on my body. It all stayed in one place and hasn't left it since.
