Spohn Driveshaft Loop Install
Spohn Adj Poly LCA Install
Bought these from Forcefed high performance on a 10% off sale for spohn stuff their unit supposidly didnt require you to remove the driveshaft like some others on the market so i figured this would be a good time and a good deal to do it with.
After getting the lower bracket on I ran into a couple of problems first the powercoat got in the threads on the smaller bracket so I had to tap out all 4 holes since the bolts thread directly into that piece...next was figuring out how to get said pice over the driveshaft...with some minor grinding and a little brute force & a hammer i got it over the output shaft but be careful not to nick it as thats really not a good thing to do.
Heres in the clearance with the ypipe and driveshaft as you can see its not too bad after its all up in place but man is it a bitch to get there...i used a pen magnet to get the 2 bolts in place and forced my rachet in there to tighten them down.
Here you can see what I had to deal with when trying to tighten them down.
Finally completely installed after about an hour which isnt bad since i had to grind some of the smaller bracket and go back and forth test fitting everything I'd say.
On to my spohn lca's they are the adjustable type as I didnt want to limit myself too much and have to do things over again...and what a bargain nat less than $150
There is already a writeup on this at www.installuniversity.com so i wont bore you with explaining how to do it.  But I'll just show you some of the features like the adj knob..just use a wrench and dial in your suspension.  If you dont know what your doing just set it to the stock length and be done with it for now.
Both ends have poly bushings which will last longer than the stock rubber ones and both ends also have grease fittings to lube the bushings up when needed spohn recommends every 3000 miles with poly synthetic grease to keep away those squeeks.
