MOLLY , 8 yr old walker female. Molly has been a top notch dog since day 1 of owning her, I have raised her from an 8 week old pup. Shes a medium nosed dog thats an outstanding rig dog on bear and coon, shes a 1 way track dog thats drifts a bad track and runs a hot one heads up ready to catch.  Many coon and bobcat have been grounded from her track style. She started treeing her own coon around 8 months old and has never looked back since. I use molly as my main rig dog on bear #1 cause she absolutely won't honor another dog, you can have 2 truck loads of hounds struck in behind you and if she can't smell it she won't strike it,shes what I consider a true check dog and if she don't strike it, its not worth trying to trail out on anyways. Theres many other outstanding rig dogs that can beat her to the bark but when she strikes, your good to go, load the gun and sharpen the knife!  Molly has a chop on track, bawls on a bay up and chops at the tree, she has a steady chop at the tree maybe 60 barks a minute, shes not gonna blow the top of a tree out but shes gonna be there when you get there.Shes an excellent locater and many times I have treed layed up coon from her ability to wind a tree. I had her spayed as a pup so she will never raise me a litter but will continue to catch game here untill she gets to old to run and force her to retire.
