JACKSONVILLE FLORIDA.... Split the Port Authority when other cities say no? Are there public officials headed for jail for violating the Florida Sunshine Law (do all public business in the open) and "liberating" tax money from the Port Authority? Did the Times Union newspaper fire a reporter who got too close to the story? Who are the bigger morons, us voters or the public officials in this fiasco? JACKSONVILLE FLORIDA.... Is there a real Better Jacksonville Plan that would not have taken a million dollars in advertising to pass? Eg. A 1/2 cent sales tax increase plan that a real poll created...... that would have kept $700 million more in the Jacksonville community for more profit for local contractors? A plan ignored by Mayor John Delaney? Read on... JACKSONVILLE FLORIDA.... Attorney Stewart Harris, the Northside Civic Association and the City Attorney's stopped this facility but it was costly. Old cannister of chemical weapons/hazardous waste to be imported into US via Florida and stored there for up to a year? Yes, there are idiots in this world. 100% of the Florida Legislature voted against AES of Pennsylvania's propose facility.
