FlashBoot is an industrial initiatives.
The objective of FlashBoot is to make flash memory cards (i.e. CF, Memory Stick, SD, etc.) to be OS bootable.
FlashBoot means
(1) Replacing old fashion floppy disk with high performance flash memory cards
(2) Replacing floppy disk drive (FDD) with flash drives (i.e., USB Flash Disk or USB Flash R/W).
(3) Promoting flash memory cards from consumer market to IT/enterprise market.
