1973 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ55
Welcome to the webpage dedicated to my Toyota Landcruiser and our many fourwheeling trips.  My Cruiser is still powered by the stock six cylinder engine.  Here are a list of modifications that I have done:
2 inch shackle lift with 33 x 10.50 Super Swamper Radial Tires on American Racing 15 x 10 steel wheels
Custom front bumper with Warn 8200 winch and two Hella Rallye 2000 driving lights and two Hella 500's
16 inch electric cooling fan with electic thermostat
Custom snorkle feeding a non-USA specification carberator
Upgraded brakes with a brake booster from a 1976 FJ40
Custom dual battery tray with a Optima red top battery and Optima yellow top deep cycle battery
On board air compressor by a Quick Air 2 with a 2 1/2 gallon tank with 3 outlets
Non-USA specification vacuum advance distributor with Pertronix breakerless ignition module
Upgraded to 4 speed tansmission from 1976 FJ55 with stock 3 speed transfercase
Carter electronic fuel pump plus another electric fuel pump for back-up
Custom lightbar which holds six Hella 500 fog lights
Replaced factory bench seat with bucket seats from a Nissan Altima
10 inch Tuffy security console between front seats
Custom lower dash with houses AutoMeter guages and Equees digital tachometer and air compressor controls
Cobra 29wx CB with twin whip antennas mounted on front fenders
Custom tanneau cover in rear cargo area behind rear seats
Twelve Speaker, 300 watt, Pioneer Stereo Cassette deck
Rancho 9000 adjustable shocks
4.88 Ring and Pinions with ARB lockers in front and rear
