Brave Saint Saturn   From members of Five Iron Frenzy comes the launch of a new project, Brave Saint Saturn, and with it a whole new genre of music. Welcome to the final frontier: astro-rock! The project, originally called Astronaut, is certainly a great leap from the usual upbeat ska sound the band usually has. He has enlisted the help of band-mates Dennis Culp and Keith Hoerig in this project, with Micah, Andrew, and Scott playing on the album. The CD, titled So Far From Home, was released June 2000. Reese said “It sounds kind of like Jars of Clay crossed with Smashing Pumpkins with a bunch of astronauts talking over it.” Created by Roper in 1995, Brave Saint Saturn was initially a platform for Roper to express his thoughts on topics traditionally considered dark and emotional. Lyrically this is definitely the dark side of Five Iron Frenzy," explains Roper. The new album, The Light of Things Hoped For, has been released!

I know this hasn't been updated in awhile. Hopefully I'll get around to actually putting this site together within the next week. I've been busy all summer long. As usual. I am in the process of teaching myself HTML. And then hopefully I'll be able to jazz this place up a bit. But I need some help from YOU. I need you to e-mail me and let me know what you want to see on this site. Let me hear it. Thanks.
