THE
SIQUIJOR FITS OR TECHNO PINOY CENTER is housed
at the second floor of DOST-Siquijor PSTC.
IT WAS LAUNCHED last July 22, 1999 with funding support from Philippine Council for Agriculture, Forestry and Natural Resources Research and Development (PCARRD). THE FITS SIQUIJOR is run by a local consortium or the FITS Siquijor Consortium which is under the supervision of the regional consortium. The Central Visayas Consortium for Integrated Regional Research and Development (CV-CIRRD). |

TECHNO
PINOY CENTERS are established nearest the majority
of the farmers, processors, traders and entrepreneurs who are not
easily and commonly reached by extension services.
It is a resource center, which is supported by a pool of experts to provide information and technology services in agriculture, forestry, and natural resources. A DYNAMIC FEEDBACK mechanism, Techno Pinoy in partnership with other service providers, packages and provides information and technology services based on the needs and characteristics of its clients. It also immediately relays the clients' feedback on the services to the concerned providers. |
