Welcome to my website. You'll notice that this site seems to lack colour, which is probably due to my lack of colour co-ordination (by using grey, black and white, I leave myself less open to criticism for dodgy colour combinations).

Take a look around, please tell me if you want to steal some images, take it all with a pinch of salt, eat your vegetables, say your prayers and take care.

Peace

Ben

Now its 2003.. Western New Years has passed and Chinese New Year is approaching soon.. so Happy Year of the Ram/Goat to you out there... Finally decided to update my reading and CD list.. One or two photos up.. I'm real lazy with this site...

Had my Christmas Holiday in Hong Kong... 4 weeks long... relatively good weather..saw family..saw some old friends... did a bit of revision for my january exams.. thought a bit.. reflected.. contemplated.. .etc.. usual stuff..

Reading week is in 3 weeks time.. thats basically a week off university (half term in a way)..

More than half way through the first term and I'm still glad I picked law... well.. was more of a proess of elimination.. can't really see myself picking another subject..

This site is really going no where but hey, thats life...

Ok, I'm now 19 and thus changed the number on my profile page. So thats one update. And oh yeh, i've actually put up some photos. Rare I know. I usually dislike photos preferring to store whats memorable in my cranium but due to the overflow of indecipherable and ununderstandable law crap in my head, I've decided to post photos up on my site... If you happen to be in one of the photos and really object to it being on the site, i would like you to think of Article 10 and the three defences to Breaches of Confidence..

Well, its been a long time I've last updated. More than three months. I'm going to stick to this site design for a while. I kind of still like it, despite my fickle nature. So what has happened since my last update? I returned to London to get my A-level results, which were good enough for me to study law at UCL. I then went to Paris for a few days. I then went to San Francisco for 11 days to visit my relatives there. Came back to UK. Within a week, I had moved into my UCL Residency student flat and I've become a LLB Law student here at UCL.

So yeh, I'm here studying law. Its quite tough and challenging but I really cant see myself doing any other subject right now. It was slightly confusing at first (Property especially with all the philosophical theoretical hogwash involved; Locke, Demsetz, etc.). The people here aren't half bad either.

Anyway, not a large update. Just updated CD collection and Reading List. Coz yeh, i'm sad like that.

Updating for the sake of updating at the airport. I've never updated anything at the airport before so I thought I might as well. Am at Cathay Pacific's lounge using a phone line. Having used broadband for a long time now, its a bit strange using 56k but what I have learned is that you can tell the difference in speed between Opera and Internet Explorer using 56k better than on broadband. With broadband, IE and Opera are fast and its harder to tell the difference. With 56k, Opera is much faster, can get speeds up to around 8k.

Am returning to UK in approximately one hour. Going from 30 degrees to 20 degrees. I haven't been in the UK in mid August since 1992. Have always been in Hong Kong. Anyways, update later when in UK.

Uploaded the site up. A Level results come in 4 days time. Its not the be all and end all but screw up and it doesn't exactly help your life. Hong Kong is hot, stuffy and has been raining every day for the past week or so. Hong Kong has a certain depressing mood to it with the poor economy, average weather and problems seem to be appearing one after another.

If this page looks wierd on your computer, well it looks fine on mine so sorry about that

If it loads slowly, I'd suggest you get broadband. This site was designed for the broadband expierence. Of course, it is expensive and not as simple as that but its getting cheaper and is a whole lot less irritating and stressful than 56k (i assure you that by using broadband, you will make the money back because you will be less stressed and will spend less money on stress medicine and trips to shrink).

Please use IE 5.5+, Opera 6+ or Netscape 6.2+, (but only use Netscape if you absolutely *have* to), otherwise this site will probably look even stranger than it already does because Netscape is a fiend who interprets code however if teels like. If you are using an AOL browser, sign off immediately and attack your computer with a hatchet.
