| 10-22-02: No I haven't forgotten about all of you, you being those who bother to stop by. Thanks you all of those who do! But really, I have an excuse. Im in college so alot has been going on since the first week of September and now, but finally, all is settled. And I can breathe. And report. If you havent already heard, Richie is in rehab. Although original reports said the reason was to help repair his voice, reports are now leaning towards the fact that he has checked himself in for alcohol and drug related problems: "Time for a refund, Filter fans. The band has cancelled its tour after lead singer Richard Patrick checked himself into a California rehab center last weekend to combat alchol and substance abuse." If you ask me, California is the worst place to try and "clean up" (hehe) but either way, I wish him the best of luck. If he's half the man he is when he writting or singing, he'll be out in no time! Also, Frank is soon to be a father! Congrats, man! Plus, as of September 28th, 90,000 copies of The Amalgamut, have been purchased. And, nearly a month later, I can surmize that that number is much higher.So far, the singles that have come out are "Where Do We Go From Here" and "American Cliche". Most likely, "The Only Way..." will be the next one to hit the airwaves. However, I won't be able to tell when it gets on since I have no idea what the radio stations up here are yet! Hopefully, everything is one th up and up. As for other updates, there aren't many. Geno's birthday was on October 24th. Happy (Belated) Birthday! Oops!
