Look for a reputable breeder when selecting your Fila puppy. Ask if the parents' hips were x-rayed for hip dysplasia and certified as normal hips. Ask if the litter is registered with a kennel club affiliated with the Fédération Cynologique Internationale (F.C.I.), this organization is recognized internationally.
