| this collection has a few different things... the first and most notable set was taken from a taping of the bbc television program "re:covered" earlier 2002. the band performed not only a cover (as the show's title implies) but throws in some cure for good measure. they play "lovesong," and then play most of "a forest" almost as a coda to the thin lizzy song "don't believe a word." lovesong/don't believe a word/a forest the second batch of items were taken from audio cassette interviews from the magazine "fast forward." they were taped in 1981/1982 and just feature some comments from robert and simon. and the disc is rounded out by 2001 interviews done for la scene...the band performed and the show also included some interviews, the actual performances appear on another 2001 disc but the interviews (done in french) appear here. |
