Seattle, the Emerald City, is the location for the FHS63-66 Business Meeting in June 2004. Headquarters is the beautiful Seattle Westin, where we have negotiated a special rate for FHS: $129+tax per night, double occupancy. Click for reservations, and enter 49DB0. This reservation site is active from 23 October 2003 to 26 May 2004, for booking, modifying, or cancelling a reservation. You may also call toll-free to the Seattle Westin (1-888-627-8513) for reservations. Be sure to ask for the "Frankfurt American High School" rate.

This year, we also welcome the classes of 1960-1963, many of whom met at Lake Tahoe in June 2003, or were with us in New Orleans. Mark your calendar for the weekend of June 25-27, 2004 (the weekend after Father's Day). Come a few days early. We'll have rooms available in the Westin, and you will find lots to do and other early-arriving classmates to visit with.

Last held here in 1992 when the reunion headquarters were on Lake Union, the 2004 reunion will showcase Seattle's downtown area - replete with its famous public market (home of the original Starbucks), theatres, museums, Seattle Center (the site of the 1962 World's Fair) with its Space Needle and Experience Music Project, shopping, ferry rides, Underground Seattle, and more, more, more! Seattle was the original staging city for the Yukon gold rush, and still is a springboard for cruise ships plying the famous Inside Passage. Consider augmenting your visit with an Alaska cruise. We've arranged for special rates aboard Holland-America Line's "Amsterdam" for the June 27-July 4 Inside Passage cruise. To investigate Alaska cruises on your own, try All-Alaska Cruises. For something a bit more local, enjoy a cruise up the Columbia River on a stern wheeler, retracing the steps of Lewis and Clark.

We are planning activities for Thursday through Saturday nights. They include gatherings in our hospitality suite (that will open on Thursday), a Belltown barbecue and pub crawl, business meeting on Saturday morning, and Saturday night dinner and dancing in the Teen Club. Be prepared for a few surprises!

Hotel reservations and registration for FHS 2004 Seattle are available now. Alumni attending must be current with dues to FAHSAA, Inc. Dues are $30 per year, or $250 for ten years.

We are planning an exciting experience for you in Seattle and want YOU there! Never been to Seattle or just want some free information to help plan your trip? Visit the Seattle Convention and Visitors Bureau and request a free visitor’s guide. Check out tours of Underground Seattle or the Boeing Plant. Plan an afternoon ferry excursion across Puget Sound. Buy a pass in advance for reduced-rate entry into six of Seattle's best attractions. You'll find lots to do in Seattle.

Do you think you'd like to attend? We hope so. It's as easy as ONE, TWO, THREE: 1) Make your hotel reservations. 2) Make your travel reservations. To check flights (and cruises!), browse Internet Airfares for the daily fare sales from all the top cities. 3) Complete and return the Registration Formto sign up for the Seattle fun!

Reunion Aid can help defray costs if you would like to attend and money is an issue. Confidential arrangements are made by contacting the Treasurer (714-897-6629). We want you to attend! If you don't need help, consider a donation to Reunion Aid when you complete your registration (available soon) for the meeting and pay your dues.

Looking ahead to 2005: The Frankfurt American High School 2005 Reunion for the classes of 1963 through 1966 is scheduled for Chicago, Illinois.
