Over Rainbow Bridge

There’s a place off in the distance
Where God chose lost pets to live
To run and play and frolic
When crossing over Rainbow Bridge

God embraces each type of creature
From the young to the very old
They enjoy bright rays of sunshine
And run down the paths of gold

They all will play together
They have everything they need
And someday we shall meet again
And together we'll forever be

They will all be there to greet us
When our time has come to cross
Reunited with our long lost pets
Our hearts are freed from loss

This page made in memorian of Maryn. Maryn was a sweet little girl even though she was so reserved. We got Maryn from a pet store, and was the tiniest ferret I have ever seen. When we got her home, she only weighed 290 grams. She would always hide rather than play, therefore, bonding to her was very hard. We did manage to get to the point of holding her, even if it was only for a short time.

Maryn did not reach her first birthday. We are not sure what happened or why we lost our sweet little girl. She lost weight along with the other ferrets over the summer. She didn't seem to gain any back. By the time I thought she should see the vet, it was too late. I should have known something was wrong with my sweet little girl then I would have been able to act on it sooner, and maybe she would still be here. Maryn will never be replaced by another ferret. We will miss her very much because she was a big part of our family!

Maryn I am truly sorry I did not catch your illness sooner. I am sorry I was not aware of your pain. I hope that you can forgive me for not being attentive enough, or aware enough of your needs. You were a sweetheart even though you did not really want to be bothered. I am so happy that you got to spend as long as you did with us! Now you no longer have to feel anymore pain. We will forever remember you Maryn, and keep you close to our hearts.
