Aren't ferrets awesome. If you ask me there the best domestic animal out there. But cats and dog are up there too, with hamsters, mice, rats, horses, emus, and weasels. Actually come to think of it any animal would be cool to have as a pet, but any animal would also be better off in the wilderness.
And to those people who say that "That's true, but what about all the animals that have already been domesticated. Should just set them loose in the wild were they will almost certainly die?" Ofcourse not, you put them in rehap and quit taking out domesticating new animals.
