Other formats:
The following are formats that have been used for tournament play but are
not considered "standard".
Beta Test
as standard with these changes (proposed for use at Catchy Slogan 2001)
May not include the highest renown member of tribe in pack. (example:
may not have Gillian Fangs-First or Torvald the Unstoppable in a Get deck)
Must gain at least 4 VP from noncombat sources to win. Bonus for
kills, such as Fury or Fianna ability, do count towards this number.
If you overrun twenty renown without getting the 4 noncombat VP, may not
win and may not exceed 20-the missing noncombat VP for purposes of overall
ranking (example: Bob has 23 Renown worth of kills in his pile, but
only 2 from noncombat sources. He cannot win this game, despite having
renown and his overall renown cannot exceed 18 VP.)
Alternate wins will be assumed to fill the 4 noncombat VP requirement.
(ie Red Talons and Uktena victory condition.) Automatically count
as a 20 VP win.
Rite of Passage
As Standard, but must include AT LEAST one cub in your deck. Used
at SRC II.
Wyrm Hunt
Only Enemies count for VP. Slain Alphas, Allies, and Victims do not
count for VP. Other sources for Renown (moots, rites, events, etc.)
are permissable. Proposed for SRC III.
