Raised in Germany, Mustafa Dogan rediscovered his Turkish roots by signing for Fenerbahce
SK in 1996. His career began with German side KFC Uerdingen 05. He came to prominence in the
1995/96 campaign, playing 28 times in the Bundesliga that season after establishing himself in the first team.
His performances for the German under-21 team were noticed in Turkey and it was not long before he ended up in
Istanbul. The defender quickly settled into the side and was a consistent performer as Fenerbahce SK won the league
title in 2000/01. An international, in October 1999 he played for Germany against Turkey in a UEFA European Championship
qualifying match. A combative defender, Mustafa gives his all in every match, displaying a strong will-to-win that
