Batman - War on Crime - Alex Ross' version of Batman is probably my favorite all time version of the character. His fantastic, highly realistic style just jumps off the page at you. I did my best to bring some of that style to FC form. It's fallen short of Mr. Ross I think but I like the look.

This figure was done with an M2 body and an enlarged Magneto head. Originally I made him with just a regular Magneto head and while I liked the sculpt it just didn't look like it fit on an M2. So I took a Mags head and filled it with some expanding foam insulation that you buy at the hardward store and let it set up. The foam expanded and in turn expanded the head.  I then sculpted the mask using a combination of super-sculpey for the cowl and sculpey-flex for the ears. I've had ears break off of two Batman customs before so I took a little extra precaution this time with the sculpey-flex. It's pretty neat stuff when you finally figure out how to work with it. The ears on this figure are flexible and can be pushed over far enought to touch the other ear and bounce back with no adverse affects. Don't try that with sculpeyed ears. :-) Costume was homemade and the belt was sculpted and then cast from a substance called Tear Mender. This is probably my favorite figure that I've  made simply because of my love of the character and the fact that he looks a little intimidating. Finally, a Batman with an attitude for my collection.  Hopefully I'll be able to get some better pictures up soon.
