Hitler is a perfect prototype of the controller-abuser. Here is his background. It is very similar to all males who control. Female controllers have similar backgrounds but usually with their mothers as abusers.

• His father beat him as a child

• He was spoiled and enabled by his mother

• As a child, he played war games and fantasized about violence

He was a good student but then suddenly his studies began to suffer and he became a discipline problem at school He began to get interested in mythology and the occult

• He did not get along well with authority

• he drifted..not holding down good jobs

• He had few friends..was a loner..had grandiose scheme and ideas
