We rented a Villa outside of Cortona, near Foaino della Chiana, just down the road from the village for Chiannecce. The website for the villa is www.tuscany.net/limoni, and ours was the Villa Limoni (there are two properties listed on this page). You can see many pictures of the inside of the house and some of the property on these pages.

Laura, David's sister, stayed with us the entire time, and we also enjoyed visits from Suzy Thomas and her mom Marge and their friend Mary, and from Melissa Shore and David (and Jordanna) Turetsky.

We did a lot of day trips, to Florence, Cortona, Arezzo, Pisa, Siena, San Gimignano, Pitigliano, Orvieto, Urbino, Gubbio, Montepulciano, and a variety of places in between. We also did one overnight in Rome - and attended Saturday morning services in a tiny little shul hidden away on the fourth floor of a church!

We also spent many days just "staying home", swimming in the beautiful pool and enjoying the views from the backyard. Our hosts, Jacopo Menchicci and his parents and grandmother, were exceptionally nice, and practically adopted the boys.
