She was just a girl the first time I met her,
A weird girl who needed my help,
Scared of the new things she's been seeing around her,
I helped her, I knew it would be for the better

After my fight with those guys,
I turned to her and her friend,
I ask for some money for what I did,
But just told me they didn't have any, just like a kid

So I left them both and went on my way,
I didn't care for them at all, I thought they were no use
I went back to town starting another day,
But in front of my site, there was another abuse

She was screaming for help...yet again
And I helped her, just like what I did before
A kick and a punch, that's what all it took
To bring those men out from their core

She thanked me again but accused me
She asked me for her friend, probably the one with her a moment ago
I told her I don't know, but she accused me again
And followed me around, she was so annoying back then

She created a lot of trouble around me
Making crowds more thicker,
She even went in front and talked to the emperor,
Almost getting killed, much to my horror!

I took her away and talked to her again
And for the second time she cried, much to my dismay
I couldn't do anything, so I told her I'll help her
But she reminded me she doesn't have anything, why is it okay?

I surrendered and sighed, this was getting no where,
I looked at her sweet eyes, and drowned straight to the abyss
I gave up and told her I'll take something different
With her in my arms, I took from her a kiss

And then from then on, I have been with her all the time
Helping her wherever she needs me, staying by her side
Not much as I expected, she was our Maiden of Suzaku,
And I was a star warrior, it gave me much pride

We got into a lot of trouble, like the time where we started
Only this time it wasn't the same thing
After another surging battle, she told me what she felt
And said that she loved me, I couldn't say anything

I shrugged her off and went on my way
But then she fainted, much to my dismay
I brought her back to the palace and took the responsibility
But she seems too upset, and won't even talk to me

It was then that Hotohori, the emperor, decided she needs her world
So we decided to take her to someone who could bring her back
So I went with Hotohori and Nuriko, another suzaku seishi,
And courted her to where she'll be sent back

Then one night, Nuriko tricked us
Saying that she was waiting for me by the river and wanted to talk
As I went there, her scream was all I could take,
She thought there was a something in the water, another mistake

She cried, thinking the "monster" has devoured me
But out of her expectations, I rose up from the water
She wasn't wearing anything, so we both flushed and turned our backs
That's where we talked, and things became much better

And then another trick, we were fooled again
For there was another maiden
She then began to flirt with the emperor, which I hated so much
So it hit me, was I in love with her then?

That's when Hotohori said she was a fake
For a moment there I was thanked the skies
For I haven't lost her...not just yet
Until in the middle of the battle, our maiden appeared, already half-dead

Nuriko tended to her, and then she woke up
We were all overjoyed and welcomed her back
We then met the so called woman who'll bring her to her world
And we helped into the ritual, to make he happy and bring her back

And for three whole months, I waited for her
I can't help but miss her, it was so weird
How could this happen, she was just a girl
So how could this be, her voice was all I heard

Then one great night, she has come back
She came to look for me, which made me very glad
And then another danger we were about to face,
But now I know, I'll dedicate myself to her in this case

Danger here and there, so much problems we had faced
But, oh my Miaka, our love can't be outdone
For everytime we were about to be torn apart
Our love will go between everything, and warm our hearts

From then 'till now, she was all that I wanted
I could plainly see, her love for me is true
Oh, my sweet, you have done a lot for me
Even 'till my last breath, I'll still be there for you...
