| Roll up, Roll up and fucking welcome to the NEW official website of Perth (UK) based punk band the Fake Patriots. A BRIEF HISTORY Fake Patriots were formed in 1997'ish by Rosko McGregor (bass) who after several useless attempts eventually managed to form a band. He was jouned on vocal duties by Scott McGregor, Paul "ziggy" Begg on guitar and Stewart Ferry on drums. After a few pish gigs in the shite hole known as Perth the band were snapped up by the record label "intimidation records" and released their debut albulm "no nonsense" which you can still order by e-mailing fakepatriots@yahoo.co.uk Stuart then left the band for greener pastures (he joined On File) and the F.P's were left in the Lurch. A year or so passed and then Stef Bednarek who knew Rossko from college (he also uesd to play in Perth's premier manufactured poofy boy band tenesee kait) the band) began to write new material. The band recorded their new material in January 2002 with Staurt Firm @ Seagate Studio's and the first of these sessions is due for release on "Intimidation Records" As for the future, gigging possibly even touring, drinking and writing the most aggresive material this side of the border.
