Xin chao! I visited Hoi An early this year, and spent tete there. It is the best town I have ever been to, as it reminds me of where I live in England, a small town called St. Ives. I was suprised to see your little web page pop up when I typed in a se rch for Hoi An, but I am impressed. Hello, Your banner is "hoian my hometown" so I wonder if you were born and grew up in Hoian ? I did. I just visited Hoian 3 weeks ago. It changed a lot from the last time (1992) I went there. If you are a "Minh Huong" , let me know. I used to live at 97 Cuong De, ( now my house was confiscated by Government and the street name is Tran Phu) studied at Truong Nam va Tran Qui Cap high school. Nice stuffs.Thank you. I spent 3,5 weeks in Hoian only during nov. and dec.-99.I even arrived there totally in 3 times.The town was great.I felt in love with a local lady...so everytime I saw these pictures,just like bringing back all the wonderful moments.Well done!!!

It's overwhelming to see the pictures and stories of Hoi An, my home town too. I've been away from it for nearly 30 years (left at 18 years of age). So impressed to see the pictures of old places of the best town in Vietnam. What a great trip down the mem ry lane for me.

Chao, I spent 1968 & 1969 in your wonderful town. I was a Navy Corpsman and I worked at the civilian hospital in Hoi An. Made many wonderful friends while I was there. Hope to return someday for a visit. Would love to hear from you if you have time.
