Fabulous Tom Cruise in this Steven Spielberg flick. Action, Love, and brief Politics.
It does not win my vote as a great sci-fi, nevertheless it's a great action show to check out.
Review: Honestly, ever since the Matrix, no other sci-fi has been able to embody the true elements of a sci-fi. When we watched the Matrix, we were all surprised by the action, and the heavy dose of philosophy behind the film. With the Matrix as the ultimate Sci-Fi...Minority definitely falls short. It's a actually a simple movie, that could have been filmed in today's setting. The movie is about the future! Tom Cruise is a "cop" who arrests people BEFORE they commit the crime. The system of PRE CRIME is suppose to lower the crime rate, by using "psychics" to pre-determine the crime. Then one day, Tom is the vision of a criminal. And a chain of events occur as Tom tries to prove his innocence. See, it's a typical story dressed in a futuristic setting.

Review: The last 2 Garbage Cds were great. However this one surpasses them all. It's a great mixture of Shirley's dark voice, with the band's electronica and classic rock feel. Overall, it's the greatest Garbage LP yet, as Version 2.0 was at the time. I think that is their goal (and it should be), to achieve a better product each time around.
