We spent 9 much too short days on Mafushivaru. The island was paradise... the whitest sand we've ever seen (and Fabri's seen a lot of sand), translucent water, an amazing number and variety of fish, and total relaxation! After our first day here, we were already planning our return visit.

The Maldive Islands are located off the Southwest coast of India. There are thousands of tiny islands - hundreds that are inhabited. The Maldivian people are very kind, they have their own language and practice the Muslim religion. Many depend upon fishing or tourism.
Some of our friends have asked to see REAL photos of Maldive, not brochure images... these are real... we took them.
