Here is where the pixies meet to play croquet and hide and seek.
Or cuddle up in hollow trees reading Fairytales,
(they always please).
And as the summer sun sets low, they dance together in the glow.

The Fairy's Tree
I've never seen a fairy but I know just where she'd hide.
I'm sure I've found her hollow tree 'cos when I peep inside
I see a cobweb cover, moss pillow for her head,
A little glow-worm night-light. (I think she reads in bed!)
There's her toadstool table, and on it I can see
A gumnut cup and saucer for her morning cup of tea.
I think the fairy's hiding in the shadows out of sight.
I'll go back home to dinner now and to her I will write
A teeny-weeny letter, and this is what I'll say:
"I'd love to meet you, Fairy!
Will you please come out and play!"

Ingredients
   Detergent
   Water
   Container for the bubble mixture
   Cooking oil
   Fine wire, plastic drinking straws
   or commercial bubble pipes

To make the bubble solution, mix a few drops of washing-up detergent and water together. Add a teaspoon of oil to the mixture. This makes the bubbles stronger.
   The pixies can make bubble blowers out of the wire or just blow through the drinking straws. If you have commercial bubble blowers they can be used also.
   You can play games with the bubbles and see who can make the biggest bubble, or see whose bubble lasts the longest or blows the furthest.

FAIRY 1: How do you send a message in the forest?
FAIRY 2: Moss code.

FAIRY 1: What is grey and huge and has wings?
FAIRY 2: An elephant's fairy godmother.

FAIRY 1: What did Cinderalla say to the photographer?
FAIRY 2: Some day my prints will come.

FAIRY 1: What do frogs sit on?
FAIRY 2: Toadstools.

FAIRY 1: The invisible man is at the castle door.
FAIRY 2: Tell him I can't see him.

FAIRY 1: Why did the dragon cross the road?
FAIRY 2: To eat the chicken on the other side.

To play this game you will need a litle colourful object
(this will be the treasure)
Define an area, such as the lounge room or a part of the garden. All the pixies hide their eyes, and the pixie queen/king hides the treasure within this area. When the pixie queen/king tells the pixies she's/he's ready, all the pixies fly out to find the treasure, who-ever finds the treasure becomes the next pixie queen/king.
