Padre 2001

Well, we had a good time a Padre. It was nice to finely put faces with names I've been seeing over the past 3 years, and meet some new people too. I don't think we could have asked for a better weekend for the run, other than all the wind and the humidity, but that seems to be the norm there.

For all you Jeep people, be sure to look at the last two pictures. We came up on three odd looking vehicles on I37 north of Corpus. Coming up on 'em from the rear (going a good 20mph faster), I noticed the Michigan plates, but was thinking "Kia?". Then noticed the odd body camouflage on the sides then finally the Jeep grill. Sidwinder and I started talking about them over the CB when they started talking back. They were doing durability testing on 'em and just driving around. We talked to 'em for a while while digging out the camera to snap a few pics, then got back up to speed.
