1.) Have you ever refreshed for 15 minutes straight just so you wouldn't miss the first items to come into the shops?
2.) Have you ever wished you had, or bought a cable modem just so you'd have a better chance at getting some of the really cool items in the shop?
3.) Do you play for hours and hours making sure you can get the items in the auctions while no one is there? (You hope)
4.) Do you dream of Blue Techos, Green Shoyrus, or other pets more than once a week?
5.) Are you always spoiling your pet in fear they may leave you for a better owner?
6.) Have you spent all of your neopoints in an hour or less?
7.) Do you get angry when someone beats you out at the auctions?
8.) Do you scream with excitement everytime you get a piece of the Treasure map only to be terribly disappointed when you complete it. (For the 12th time)
9.) Do you check the shop wizard more than 100 times a day to get the best items first?
10.) CAN YOU EVER STOP PLAYING? EVEN FOR A DAY WITHOUT FREAKING OUT?
Welcome to Neoholics Anonymous. My name is ezybug and I'm a neoholic. I started playing Neopets in April, I think, of this year (2000). I introduced my girlfriend to it too. We now play neopets at least 8 hours a day. I can't stop. I can't think of anything else. Just the shop and the auctions. I spend about everything I own on new items for my shop only to do the same again tomorrow. I am going to buy a cable modem and pay way to much for internet, so I can BEAT YOU ALL *WICKED LAUGH* and get those items first!!! I don't use my ICQ anymore in fear that it will slow down my shopping speed. I have accepted so many Neofriends I don't think it will let me add any more. The first thing I do when I come home and the last thing I do before bed is Neopets. I dread working in fear I'll miss the best items in the auctions (they always show up when I'm not logged in, I'm just positive) I get so frustrated after I've spent all my neopoints in hand, drained the bank account, and checked the shop Till 12-15 times. Why isn't anyone buying anything???? I'm sure there's a conspiracy. I could go on forever, but I don't want to miss the shops so that is all for now. I will try to add my stories every so often when time allows. (in between shop time and auctions) If you have a similiar tale to tell. Step one is to admit you have a problem. Step two is to tell me all about it so we can all share from each others wisdom. This is the hardest part I think, but we have to be here for each other. So please, let's help each other. =)
