1996 Viper GTS, NO dents, BEAUTIFUL Race Blue w/ 2 white stripes, transferrable factory warranty, $43,900!

This is an absolutely beautiful & rare 1996 Viper GTS that is Viper Race Blue with 2 white stripes and polished wheels (VIN# 1B3ER69E1TV200665). It has the factory Tremec 6 speed manual transmission, factory rated 450 horsepower & 490 lb/ft torque (although numerous dyno tests on factory 1996 Vipers indicate 480-490 horsepower & 500-520 lb/ft torque due to a larger cam than newer Vipers...the factory sometimes holds back on the horsepower rating for insurance reasons.) It has a transferrable factory bumper-to-bumper Warranty. For the first 22k miles of it's life, this Viper has been serviced by one of the most highly regarded factory Viper technicians in the country, Dave Jenkins at Tuttle-Click Dodge in Southern California (the previous owner was Allen DuPuis, a retired gentleman in Southern California who sold it because he was getting married and buying a new BMW X5.) Feel free to contact Dave to get a 2nd opinion on the car...he will tell you it is beautiful and has been well cared for. The car has been garaged it's entire life and was never in the rain before I owned it. I have accidentally had it in the rain 4 times since I owned it while on vacation, but the undercarraige is clean. It has no dents or dings, never wrecked/repainted/no touch up paint anywhere, and has a clean title. Car has 29,000 miles on it (I have put 8,000 miles on the car since March due to constant highway travel...have been back and forth between New Orleans, Raleigh, Knoxville, Atlanta, Greenville, Charlotte, Pensacola, Wilmington, etc several times.) The Viper has black leather interior (interior is in perfect shape! No cigarette burns, rips, stains, etc. and the seats have no wear at all due to frequent conditioning and cleaning), factory alarm/keyless entry, factory Alpine CD player/amp/speakers. The Viper was stock until I got it, and the only mod I have done is the "muffler delete" I heard about on the Viper Club of America (the muffler delete makes the car sound just a bit better and deeper...not too loud by any means.) The oil has been changed with Mobil-1 and a Mopar filter. Doesn't smoke, leak or use any fluids. There are some scrub marks on the underside of the front nose due to the Viper's 3" ground clearance (can't see them unless you look under the car)...good luck finding a Viper that doesn't have these scrub marks :) NO shakes/vibrations on interstate or when braking (the fastest I've had it is 100 mph on the interstate and it was smooth), clutch and shifter are tight/quiet/PERFECT, the transmission fluid and differential fluid have been replaced by the dealership, has new 335/35 rear Michelin tires, coolant has been burped and has RedLine Watter Wetter added, has a new Mopar battery, and a Stant locking gas cap with key. After taking delivery of this Viper, I did the following maintanence using a factory repair manual's recommendations/procedures: on June 15 2002 the clutch/brake/power steering fluid were all changed, I changed the spark plugs and wires with new OE Mopar pieces (gapped new plugs at stock .035...I kept the stock plugs which are in great shape and normal color...can get pics), the fuel filter, and PCV valve. I also inspected the following and found ABSOLUTELY NO problems: Engine troble codes (none stored), EVAP canister operation, fuel cap/gasket, suspension to frame bolt's torque, coolant (clean and no deposits).
I looked at many other Vipers before buying this one, and this Viper is the nicest one i have seen with over 20k miles on it...it looks new! There many people from around the southeast that have seen this car that can vouch for the super condition it is in...please let me know if you want some references. Hardtop GTS Vipers weigh less than a RT/10 Viper and have a MUCH tighter chassis (less body flex through turns/launches, no squeaks/rattles/leaks, etc.) I've decided to sale it to keep more money available for me to invest in other things...nothing is wrong with the car. It is located in North Carolina. I can arrange a GREAT deal on insured shipping for the car (you pay)...North Carolina to California is about $900, to give an idea. If you are looking for a loan try Bank One (1-800-800-LOAN), www.PeopleFirst.com, BB&T Bank if you live in NC (1-910-755-2220 ask for Lisa and tell her Jeremy Blackwell referred you), or try contacting your local credit union or the bank you currently do business with. Considering I have had powerful Sports Cars in the past (2 were modified and faster than this Viper), I have no desire to modify or race this car, as I already know what it is capable of. The only car I have messed with was my friend's Ferrari 360 Modena...we went from 40 mph to about 65 mph and I pulled him by a car-length. This Viper has been well cared for. Also, I own a auto shop and will sale the person who buys this car any performance parts they want at wholesale price. I am asking $43,900 obo...feel free to email me any other questions or your highest offer at Viper@ExtremeAutosports.com or call 910-540-7223 or 910-575-7223. I will hold onto all offers and if the car doesn't sale after a month or two, I will consider lower offers. I am in NO rush to sale the car, so please remember that I am not going to jump on a cheap offer. I will not hold the car for anyone, unless I talk to your bank and they tell me that payment is on the way. I have missed several potential sales on a few other cars I've owned because people who wanted me to hold the car because they were "definately" buying it backed out! Not trying to be mean, just fair to you AND me ;) I have another daily driver, so the Viper will be sitting in the garage... Thanks everyone!
