As visual artist and educators, the
inspiration for the Expressions of the Spirit project, grew from our
desire to reach out to communicate with and give support to our
community..
Two issues, AIDS and HIV, are of particular concern to us because they
pose such serious challenges to our youth who are striving to further their
education and become contributing adults in our society.
Therefore, we decided to use our original works of art to produce
and sell note cards and postcards. A
portion of the proceeds will be donated to Pediatrics AIDS research and care
organizations in the greater Hartford, Connecticut area.
It is our hope that those who buy our products will enjoy the images and
know that they have helped, while keeping our cultural scene ever growing.
